With growth happening and expansion needed, a number of World Outreach International teams have opportunities for short/medium/long-term personnel, who can raise their own personal support and travel costs, to assist their ministry vision.
Next break, holiday or vacation do something that will change your life and the lives of others by donating your time to a project.
Please note that organising your time contribution may take some co-ordination but you can assist the partners in Development and World Outreach International projects through:
Visiting a project:as part of your vacation / holiday. Simply by visiting a project you can be of assistance as you learn more about the needs of the community and the project managers. All need your support, so a guided visit is a great way for you to see how your contributions are implemented into the project.
Group travel: Often youth groups, community groups, schools, churches, or clubs adopt a project as a cause for their assistance. As sponsors these organisations send a delegation to visit their project.
Skills and trade volunteers:Often the projects need trades professionals who have the skills to make projects move ahead. These include medical professionals, trades, and even business or administration professionals. Contact us to discuss your professional expertise and your desire to help.
Current opportunities to serve
SHORT-TERM TRIPS2012 will see a number of WOI organised short-term cross-cultural teams involved in outreaches in Southeast Asia, Indo-China, India subcontinent, and in different African nations as well as in Europe.
CAMBODIAOur WOI church planting team is looking for people who are self-motivated, committed, and computer literate. We need people with good people skills, who either have proven mission experience or are willing to take cross-cultural courses, to join the ministry to a least-reached people group in the heartland of Cambodia.
INDONESIAThree WOI bases in West Kalimantan are looking for people with the following skills: builders joiners, block layers, tilers, electricians, plumbers, doctors, nurses, dentists, teachers, administrators, agriculturalists, fish and chicken farmers, gardener for pepper plantation.
THAILANDThe WOI-sponsored Rahab Ministries is looking for help with teaching English, computers, online marketing, and video editing. We are also in need of an electrician and a builder.
